salta. this is the lunch that sizzles. rice, greens and meat. always boiling in a huge pot at the front of the salta-joint. always tastes good. you eat this before chewing qat.

not something you could ever find on a street corner in damascus. gun holsters, ak clips, and bayonettes. a 9 year old kid on summer vacation was selling these wares further down our street, next to the sneaker shop.
